Hej there,

I introduce myself as Yūgen [幽玄] Maka. I am a freelancer audio engineer based in Manchester, UK. I am a recent graduate of BSc (Hons) Audio Engineering and Production (2013/2016) at Futureworks School of Media, Manchester.

During the three years of course at Futureworks I have developed and enhanced my abilities and skills upon audio engineering, working in projects that involved to perform in recording studios, utilising consoles as the Neve VR, SSL, D-Control, D-Command 5.1, Toft, Mastering Suite and extensive analogue signal processing gear.

On my first year I acquired the Avid Certified User Protools, ataining confidence as an avid and passionate learner.

In 2009 I obtained the FP Certificate of Sound Tecniques from the University of Granada, Spain. After finishing this course I saw clearly that my life was and shall be sound. I came to Manchester to become an Audio Engineer, and thanks to the best mentors, Rob Magoolagan and Cormac Donnelly, I achieved a First Class honours.

On the 21st of October 2016, at the Graduation Ceremony of Futureworks, I received an Special Achievement Award sponsored by Zoom. I feel honoured and humble, and inmensive grateful for the support of Futureworks, devoted to bring out the best in the students to their maximun capabilities.
