Noise is everywhere. The cities never sleep. Urban noises may be found at night and it is perceived as quiet. A quiet city, such as Stockport for instance, resembles a ghost town after 6 o’clock. But as its location is close to the airport, the acoustic pollution is prominent and persistent throughout the day and night. The certified noise level in decibels of the planes is ranged 84-150db between 30 and 100 meters (htt2). The threshold of pain of the human hearing is 120db. This is called noise pollution as it passively affects the human hearing function and its psychology. It seems to provoke an impact in the human behaviour, causing stress, out of focus amongst other symptoms. So if all this noise that does not actively provides any positive outcome could be transformed into an advantage?
Currently the world generates sources of energy that are not being used. Even the human body generates enough energy to be harvested. There are many sources of energy that if used correctly can help to the human being to evolve to a higher level whether technological or scientific. Currently there is an optimal range of renewable energy with more than 50% positive outcome. In an interview sought in The Guardian to Jenny Cage, (Bloomberg New Energy Finance), is explained the benefits to invest in renewable energy now as the transition to a low carbon economy is leading to a lack of fossil fuel resources in the world. According to this interview, having as many projects as possible will be the key to financing the necessary energy transition, from small-scale initiatives to large- scale projects.
